Inventing a method for rapid detection of Android malware by means of graphic patterns

Using graphic patterns, the researchers of TMU's Computers Faculty managed to develop a method for rapid detection of Android malwares. The results of this study showed that the new method can detect malwares more rapidly and is able to identify the relevant malware in 93.36% of the cases.

The Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering of Tarbiat Modars University has been offering master' s and doctoral programs in the main fields of electrical and computer engineering for nearly three decades. These fields include: electronics, computer, control, power, telecommunications, medical engineering, and new interdisciplinary fields of nanoelectronics, mechatronics, information technology, digital forensics, etc. The faculty has established numerous research collaborations with various electrical, telecommunications, and computer industries, which has created the necessary groundwork for increasing students' research capabilities in the process of carrying out projects.
