The Computer Engineering Group at Tarbiat Modares University consists of five faculty members and offers programs for accepting students for the master s and doctoral degrees in two specialties: artificial intelligence and software engineering. The educational and research activities of this group focus on artificial intelligence, machine learning, deep neural networks, intelligent systems, image processing and computer vision, big data mining, reinforcement learning, advanced algorithms, and software engineering. The research of this group is focused on using intelligent methods to enhance performance in various areas such as medicine, bioinformatics, urban traffic, banking, stock markets, financial markets, social networks, marketing, and more.
